‘Battle of narratives is not fought with UAPAs’: Agha Ruhulla

Srinagar, October 27: Senior National Conference Leader Agha Ruhulla has said that ‘battle of narratives is not fought with UAPA’s’ (Unlawful Activites Prevention Act).

“Battle of narratives is not fought with UAPAs. You are making it known that you don’t have a narrative, you have failed on that end. You only have a refuge in UAPA and such laws,” Ruhulla tweeted .

Earlier, the police registered two cases against medical students under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for cheering at Pakistan’s victory over India in a cricket match.

Ruhulla further wrote:

“On that day of Aug 5, you stood up in arrogance and dictated us that we should live and behave, think and feel the way BJP & RSS wants us to. That’s not how civilisations work. Therefore, your failure in Kashmir commenced swiftly since that day”.
