Srinagar, Aug 05: The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) on Thursday said that they will knock the doors of people and the Indian Parliament to seek the right that were snatched on August 05, 2019.
Sources said that the PAGD today held a meeting of its constituents at Dr Farooq Abdullah’s residence, who is also the president the conglomerate, at around 11 am, wherein the conglomerate decided that no force will deter them to seek the right, which have snatched on August 05.
They said that the PAGD has decided to knock everyone’s door, even the parliament of India to seek their rights and make the government answerable that what has been achieved in two years after Article 370 and 35-A were scrapped.
They said that they will make an appeal to the parliament that lot of things are done in the house, and a lot is decided there, but Kashmir is brining. “What has the government achieved for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and for the entire country after the political incident of August 05 in 2019,” they said.
Sources said that the meeting was attended by PAGD president Dr Farooq Abdullah, vice-president Mehboob Mufti, spokesperson MY Tarigami and Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, which lasted for about an hour.
They said that the agenda of the meeting was only to make the voice reach the parliament of India and make the government answerable that what has been achieved in the last two years.
Notably, today was the 2nd anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A and splitting of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. kns
