Poonch, Jun 19: Jammu and Kashmir police in Poonch on Saturday registered a case against an Army man for manhandling Station House Officer (SHO) Rajouri at Poshana check post on Mughal road.

The FIR  has been registered on the complaint of a police officer who was allegedly manhandled and beaten up on Mughal road.

“In connection with today’s incident of manhandling of a police officer at Poshana check post on Mughal Road, a case under FIR number 234/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Surankote against the Army man,” an official statement issued by Poonch police headquarter said.

Further investigation and legal proceedings going on, police added. kno
