Six localities designated as micro-containment zones in Budgam amid surge in new infections

Budgam, Apr 28: District Administration Budgam declared six localities of the district as “micro-containment zones” following a sharp rise in covid-19 cases.

According to an order issued by the District Administration, 6 localities in Central Kashmir’s Budgam have been designated as Covid-19 containment zones in order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

These localities as per news agency Kashmir News Trust are Wadwan, Sholipora, Ompora, Kaisermulla, Watkalu, and C.C Pora.

The district administration has asked public to strictly follow all Covid-19 related SOPs. It requested people not to venture out from homes unnecessarily.

Pertinently, Budgam district has 9994 active positive Covid-19 cases. This district has reported 130 Covid-19 related deaths so for.
