Srinagar, Nov 23: Senior BJP leader Syed Shahnwawaz Hussain on Monday said the motive behind the politics of BJP is not to acquire power but to eradicate the roots of dynastic politics.

He claimed since Article 370 was taken away, J&K has achieved freedom from the menace of corruption and people have started to take part in developmental process.

The BJP leader who was addressing a workers convention in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district said that the party has started to groom in Jammu and Kashmir, and opponents will be grossly defeated in the upcoming DDC polls.

He said the motive behind the politics of BJP is not to acquire power but to eradicate the roots of dynastic politics in Jammu and Kashmir. “Leaders of PAGD were big impediment in making J&K a developed territory however after abrogation of Article 370 Gupkar Gang has completely been isolated”, he said.

Hussain said that ‘Gupkar Gang’ has hoodwinked people of Jammu and Kashmir in the name of hollow slogans and for remaining in power they turned entire J&K into quagmire of uncertainty.

The BJP leader who is also party’s national spokesperson said that no kith or kin of leaders of PAGD has taken path of militancy as they only looted public money allocated for welfare and development of J&K and made huge assets inside and outside the country.

While invoking Islam during his address, the BJP leader said that our beloved Prophet (SAW) had a deep affection with Mecca which was His homeland, saying if people of J&K loving India, they are practicing both religion and the demand of country.

He said BJP has sacrificed several leaders and activists in violence in J&K and party pays great salute to their struggle they rendered for upholding peace and tranquility in the territory. He appealed people of Anantnag to turn up on the day of election and vote for BJP to make J&K a developed region.

“We will not let you down. You will never complain. Turn up on poll day and vote us for development”, the BJP leader said.

He added that every activist of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir is akin to Narendra Modi having 56 inch chest and is committed toward their cause.

The BJP leader at the occasion urged workers to support Rifat Yousuf who filed her nomination papers for forthcoming DDC polls for Dachnipora seat in Srigufwara Anantnag.

The BJP leader further added that democracy in India has come to its true form after PM Narendra Modi took the reins of country.

He added that prior to August 5, 2019 the Jammu and Kashmir was on the top of corruption list but after abrogation of Article 370, the region witnessed gigantic development and people are turning up and contributing in the process.
