Sopore, Oct 05: Forces on Monday morning launched cordon and search operation in Bulgam area of sopore in north kashmir’s baramulla district.

Official Reports said a joint team of Army’s 52 RR, SOG of j&k police and CRPF jointly launched search operation in the area and all the entry and exit points towards the village have been sealed off.

Local reports said that house to house searches were conducted in the area.

Police Sources also confirmed and said that following inputs about the presence of militants in the area search operation was launched.

The search operation in the area was going on when this report was filed, further details are awaited. (CNS)
