Srinagar, July 31; India has registered a mammoth spike in Covid19 infection cases as the figure touched a 55,000 mark in just a single day.

With this, the total number of infections crossed the 16 lakh mark in India on Friday with 747 deaths being registered in a day.

According to the data so far the death toll due to COVID19 has reached 35, 747 mark while the recovery rate stands at 10,57000 mark.
