Srinagar, July 12: BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav Sunday took a dig at National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and said they have failed to represent peoples aspirations in current situation.

Talking to media personnel in summer capital Srinagar, BJP leader criticized  political parties particularly NC and PDP.

He said though political activities have been resumed in Valley but NC and PDP are hesitating to come forward for representing people.

He said these parties are enjoying twitter and are shying away to address the daily issues of common people.

When asked about the security cover of political workers in Valley Madhav said, “This is in the pipeline and soon security cover will be given to those who needed”.

He reiterated that in current situation the priority of the government is to deal with Covid-19 situation and once it will end, the process of delimitation and election will be kicked off.

“Soon Covid-19 situation will be overpowered, the process of delimitation will be taken to logical end and elections for the Legislative Assembly will be conducted”, Madhav said.

Earlier in the day, BJP leader visited the Bandipora residence of slain BJP youth lader Waseem Bari who was killed few days ago along with his father and younger brother outside his residence.

Madhav was accompanied by MOS in PMO Dr Jitender Singh, party national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna and party UT president Ravinder Raina.

Earlier BJP National General Secretary said that the party was extremely grieved over the killing of BJP youth leader Wasim Bari and impressed upon the J&K Government to neutralize soon those perpetrated crime.

Talking to media persons in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, BJP leader said that nation in general and BJP in particular stands with family members of Bari in this hour of grief. He impressed upon the government that perpetrators of the crime should be neutralized soon.

“I demand government of Jammu and Kashmir to trace the killers and neutralize them soon”, Ram Madhav said.
Besides Madhav, minister in PMO Office Dr Jitender Singh, party’s national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanan, J&K UT president Ravinder Raina and other party leaders also visited the residence of slain BJP youth leader at the occasion.

Madhav also demanded adequate security cover to all political workers in Valley.

Notably BJP leader Wasim Bari, his father, and brother had been shot dead few days ago outside his Bandipora residence. The trio had been shifted to hospital for immediate medical attention but all succumbed to their injuries there. (KNS)
