India borrows 750 million US dollars from China based Asian Infrastructure bank to fight COVID19

Srinagar, June 18: India has borrowed 750 million US dollars from China based Asia Infrastructure bank to fight COVID19, global times reported.

The newspaper reported that the total India now owes the bank a debt amount of 1.25 billion US dollars.

“#India borrowed another $750 million from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to prevent #coronavirus and ease economic impact of #COVID19 on the poor, bringing its debt to the bank to $1.25 billion despite China-India,” Global times stated.
