Ramban, Jun 16: A 22-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging self in Adhwa area here on Monday afternoon, police officials said.

They said the youth identified as Amarjeet Singh Manhas a resident of Adhwa in the district was spotted hanging from a tree, adjacent to his house this afternoon.

The deceased, as per the official, was pursuing Law from Jammu University.

Meanwhile, SHO Ramban, Sunil Sharma confirming the incident said that a case has taken up in this regard under Section 174 of CrPC and further investigations are to follow. (GNS)
