Srinagar, May 06: Operational Chief Commander of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen Riyaz Naikoo and his associate among four militant bodies were buried in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Naikoo, his aide were killed during a gunfight in Beighpora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir. His killing triggered clashes during which over two dozen persons were injured.

Sources said that Naikoo and Adil besides two other militants– Adil Manzoor Wani Of Padgam Pora and Rafiq Ahmad Dar of Kerinibal Samboora—killed in a gunfight at Sharshali Khrew Pulwama were buried in presence of magistrate at Sonamarg Ganderbal. (GNS)
