Srinagar: Two persons were killed on Sunday when an under-construction house collapsed in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.

The house collapsed around 2 am in remote Dharamshal village, trapping two persons who were asleep in one of the rooms, a police official said.

The house owner has been identified as Mohammad Hussain son of Faqur Din of Channi and the deceased have have been identified as Mohammad Parvez (30) son of Mohammad Hussain Lohar and Manzoor Hussain (28) son of Alam Din of Banwadi died.

Soon after the incident the locals rushed to rescue the locals, however, they had died in the meantime, sources said.
