COVID 19: Mirwaiz foundation issues list of supplications, asks people to recite them

Srinagar: Mirwaiz Foundation has issued a list of supplications and asked people to recite them during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
These supplications are “a set of Duas & Wazaifs that were prescribed and recited by Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Allama Rasool Shah (RA) invoking Allah’s mercy and blessings during the dreaded epidemic that had hit the sub-continent badly in 1901.”the Foundation stated.

“As we all know the whole mankind is going through trying times. We are caught in a whirlwind of disease and desolation. A nanoscopic virus has brought the entire world onto its knees reminding us to comprehend the power of the unseen. It’s an opportune time for all of us to invoke Allah’s mercy and earnestly pray for deliverance from this scourge,” stated the Mirwaiz foundation.

“We at Mirwaiz Foundation have curated a set of Duas & Wazaifs that were prescribed and recited by Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Allama Rasool Shah (RA) invoking Allah’s mercy and blessings during the dreaded epidemic that had hit the sub-continent badly in 1901,” the foundation said in its statement.

“While the scientific fraternity and allied specialities are working hard to control this pandemic let’s send our earnest prayers their way and seek Allah’s blessings to help us tide over these tough times as guided my our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

It urged all the Muslims to pray humbly and recite these supplications at home with family members and fervently seek Allah’s help to alleviate our sufferings.

“It is our sincere belief that Allah (SWT) will grant us refuge from this scourge and keep all of us un4der His divine care and protection,” the foundation said.
