Forces resort to aerial firing in Pulwama village after locals resist thrashing of locals

Srinagar: Forces on Wednesday afternoon restored to aerial firing after forces allegedly thrashed few civilians which was resisted by locals in Arihal village of Pulwama

Official sources said that army was asking locals to keep road sides clear to prevent plant of IED blasts.

“They asked few youth to clear road to which youth resisted,” the official said.

He said the move triggered war of words between youth and forces following which forces resorted to thrash the youth.

In wake of this locals staged protest and started pelting stones on forces to which forces replied by aerial firing to disperse the protestors. KNO
