The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy gunfire along the Line of COntrol in Tangdhar area of Karnah Tehsil in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.

Reports said that the Pakistan army initiated the fire targeting army posts on this side of the LoC. The Indian army retaliated accordingly.

The exchange of fire was going on when this report was being filed.
