Let us first hear Central Govt before calling other parties to discuss current situation: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: National Conference leader and former chief minister, Omar Abdullah has said that it is important to hear the view of the central government before calling other parties to discuss the current situation.

“Before calling senior leaders from other parties in J&K to discuss the current situation it’s important to try to understand from the Central Govt about their intentions for the state & also how they see the situation at the moment. This is what  @JKNC_is focused on,” Omar tweeted.

Peoples Democratic President, Mehbooba Mufti had earlier requested NC leader Farooq Abdullah to convene an All Party Meet to discuss the current Kashmir situation

Meanwhile,  National Conference stated that they have given their Parliament Members to raise the issue of current situation in Kashmir in the Lok Sabha.

“JKNC HMP’s have given a notice to raise the current situation in Kashmir in the Lok Sabha today and have also sought an appointment with PM Mr. Narendra Modi,” NC tweeted.
