Baramulla: Body of a 16-year-old girl was retrieved from river Jhelum in Dachi village of north Kashmir’s Uri Wednesday morning, however, the body of Baramulla youth is still untraced for the fourth day. 

Reports said that locals with the help of Police retrieved the body of Rubeena Bano (16) daughter of Mohammad Anwar Shah, a resident of Dachi village who slipped and drowned in Jhelum river on Tuesday when she was grazing the cattle.

Meanwhile, the searches entered fourth day today to trace the body of a Baramulla youth Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of Jalsheri Baramulla who drowned in river Jhelum on Sunday when he was taking a bath to beat the heat.

A police officer said that search and rescue operations are on to trace the drowned youth. The officer said that Navy and Morrcos have been also pressed into service to retrieve the body. (GNS)
