Puwlama: The outbreak of hepatitis due to the consumption of contaminated water in Pinglana village of Pulwama triggered protests by the residents on Wednesday, official sources said.

Doctors have confirmed that around 70 residents were tested positive for hepatitis.

Following the disease outbreak DC Pulwama suspended executive engineer, Assistant executive Exn and junior engineer of PHE division Pulwama.
