Shopian: Panic gripped Amshipora village of Shopian after intense firing was heard during pre dawn hours on Friday.

Reportssaid that a contingent of forces was Patrolling Amshipora- Ramnagri belt when they witnessed a suspicious movement, they fired many shots towards the spot however later checking they found nothing in the area.
The gunshots created panic in the area as everyone presumed that encounter has raged in the area, they said
An official said that few gunshots were heard, however everything is normal in the area.
