Srinagar: A 13-year-old boy was crushed by an army vehicle at Gulpora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district Tuesday afternoon.

An official said that the boy, Sajad Ahmad, son of Mohd Taj, a resident of Gulpore was injured critically after being hit by an army vehicle.

He was immediately rushed to district hospital Poonch where doctors declared him brought dead.

MS DH Poonch Dr Shamim Bhatti confirmed the minor was declared brought dead.

A police officer while confirming the incident said that a case under relevant sections has been registered and further investigations taken up.
