5 youth arrested during nocturnal raids in Pulwama village

Pulwama: Five youths have been arrested during pre-dawn raids by government forces from Ratnipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that a joint team of forces raided Ratnipora village during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. “At least five youths have been arrested,” they said.

The arrested youth have been identified as Tariq Ahmad Rather from Kharbatpora, Parvaiz Ahmad Dar from Mohanvij, Asif Dar from Rakh Lajoora and Irshad Ahmad Reshie and Gh Nabi Sofi, both residents of Ratnipora Pulwama.

A police official while confirming their arrest said that they had been arrested for their involvement in stone pelting cases.
