India, Pak armies exchange gunfire along LoC in Rajouri

Srinagar: After a lull of about three days, the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy gunfire along the Line of Control in Keri area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri sector.

Reports said that firing started at about 12 AM Monday night and continued till 04 AM.

“Heavy mortar shelling also took place during shelling and both sides exchanged heavy gun fire and mortar shelling in the area,” the official said.

A number of forward LoC locations remain affected due to shelling. 

Immediately, there are no reports of any loss or injury so far. (KNO)
