Srinagar: Moments before bureaucrat turned politician Shah Faesal was about to announce launch of his party on Sunday, National Conference (NC) claimed a party ‘has been created/funded to divide’ Kashmiris.
Senior NC leader, and advisor to party Vice-President Omar Abdullah, Tanvir Sadiq also said:
“J&K’s political history is witness to the fact of many attempts to snatch away its special status especially by the use of proxies by New Delhi,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Today is no different”.
“Beware and be on guard!” Sadiq cautioned people regarding the new party.
J&K’s political history is witness to the fact of many attempts to snatch away its special status especially by the use of proxies by New Delhi. Today is no different. A party has been created/funded to divide us to make it easier for them AGAIN. Beware and be on guard! #OnlyHal

Even as Sadiq refrained from naming Faesal or his party in his tweet, it was clear that he was referring to the former bureaucrat who is launching his party.
Faesal, who was earlier slated to be joining NC after his pre-mature retirement from civil services, is now launching his own party, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement, on Sunday in Srinagar.
