Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday “strongly” condemned the Jammu blast and expressed sadness over the death of a civilian and injuries to others in the attack.
A 20-year-old resident of Uttrakhand identified as Shariq was killed in the blast while 29 others suffered injuries.
Saddened by the news of death of a civilian and the injury to scores of others in a blast in #Jammu at a bus stand and strongly condemn it. The ongoing assaults on Kashmiris outside continues to be a matter of grave concern for all which should immediately be stopped.

Mirwaiz also said that the ongoing assaults on Kashmiris outside Kashmir continues to be a matter of grave concern.
He said that such attack should immediately be stopped. He was referring to the attack on three Kashmiri traders in Lucknow by rightwing extremists.
