Srinagar: Unknown gunmen late Wednesday evening shot at and injured a civilian in Nowpora area of south Kashmir’s Tral township.

Sources said that the gunmen shot a PDD daily wager who has been identified as Lateef Ahmad, a resident of Amlar area of Tral.

They said that the civilian was rushed to a local PHC for treatment. however due to serious injuries, he was shifted to a Srinagar hospital for specialised treatment.
