Srinagar: A police constable was wounded as two grenade blasts rattled soth Kashmir’s Islamabad town Friday afternoon.

A grenade attack took place at a police post at Bus stand Islamabad in which a police constable Sajad Ahmad was wounded.  The injured policeman was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Minutes before, the militants hurled a grenade at police station Srigufwara in Bijbehara area of the district. However no report of any loss of life or injuries was reported in the attack.

Government forces have cordoned off the areas and launched searches to nab the attackers, reports said.
