Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) Monday held a protest demonstration at Press Enclave Srinagar against the continuous detention of its chairperson Shabir Ahmad Shah and his shifting to ward in Tihar jail.
The protesters said that Shah has been in jail since July 2017 and during this period, he has gone through a very ugly phase and is being treated badly.
Holding placards the protesters expressed concern over the health condition of Shah who according to them is continuously denied suitable medical treatment in Tihar jail.
They said he has been put inside a 6×4 cell and is not even able to move around which is physically very bad for him. Moreover, he is already suffering from many health issues and his condition is deplorable.
