Srinagar: After about 72 hours, the power supply has been restored in Karnah area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Assistant Executive Engineer Power Development Department (PDD) Mohd Ashraf said that due to heavy snowfall resulted in trees thick foliage coming down heavily damaging both HT and LT electric lines.

He said about 90% restoration process has been done and rest is going on and after the charge of transmission we will restore power supply in whole area
