Jammu:  A man was found dead in his residence in a remote village of Batote tehsil at Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said on Sunday.

”A police team on Sunday morning was informed by some locals of village Chakwa in Batote that the body of Purshotam Chand (30), resident of Chakwa, was found dead at his residence,” police sources added.

According to sources, the body bore stab marks and knife wounds.

A case has been registered and investigations are on, they added.
