Srinagar: Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Aripal village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that around three militants are believed to be hiding in the village.

Meanwhile, Internet services have been blocked in entire Pulwama district. So far there was no exchange of fire between the militants and the forces.

Searches were going on in the area when this report was being filed.
