Earlier while visiting south Kashmir’s Shopian district Mehbooba went to the residence of an slain militant.
Addressing media she said, “The militant families should not be harassed. If we’re fighting against militancy, their families have not committed a crime. Police don’t want to do it but directions are coming from somewhere. Governor should give clear directions that families shouldn’t be harassed.”
