Srinagar:People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Bashir Ahmed Runyal Monday left the party after he tendered his resignation.

   Runyal, a former IAS officer who was Ramban district president and state secretary of the PDP, after his retirement had unsuccessfully contested the elections from Banihal constituency.

  When asked whether he intends to join any other political party, he said,”he has not taken any decision yet and is mulling to contest the upcoming Assembly elections as Independent candidate”.
