Police say no IED detected in Kupwara, ‘it was a rusted bottle’

Srinagar: Army on Thursday morning recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) at Shumnag area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district .
Reports said that the IED was detected by the patrolling party of army’s 5 Bihar in Shumnag. The IED hid inside road was detected by the patrol at around 8:00 today.
Later the police official told the TKP, “It was a rusted object like bottle which was spotted by army, upon verifying about it, It was found it’s a bottle”.
