Missing Kashmiri student traced in Mumbai: Police

Srinagar: A Kashmiri student who had gone missing from his college in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida has been traced from Mumbai, Police said on Wednesday.

Taking to their official Twitter handle police said that the missing Handwara boy had been traced from Mumbai and is safe. “ This is with reference to various media reports regarding the missing of Asim Dar a resident of Lachipora #Handwara and a student of G.L. Bajaj Institute, Greater NOIDA, the boy has been traced in Mumbai and as reported is safe and sound with his family members. @JmuKmrPolice.” Police Tweeted.

Hussain according to reports went missing from Knowledge Park on Saturday.

Aasim is a first-year BTech student of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management. His father, Aashiq Maqbool, is a contractor while his mother Haalema is a homemaker both of whom live in Kashmir.
