Kashmir University students stage protest against HR violations in Kashmir

Srinagar: Scores of Kashmir University Students today staged a protest in the varsity against the human rights violations in Kashmir.

Scores of students assembled outside the Iqbal library lawn and took part in signature campaign in a bid to register their protest against the Human Rights Violation in Kashmir.

The program was organised by the banned student body, KUSU.

According to witnesses, scores of students raised slogans in favour of Islam and Aazadi and condemned in strong words the Human Rights Violation in Kashmir.

Talking with the reporter a senior member of KUSU said: ” We have organised this signature campaign to highlight the gruesome Human Rights violation in Kashmir. It was a micro-referendrum, we believe that resisting against the illegal occupation is the basic human right. For that matter KUSU represents the aspiration of the people of Kashmir”.

A  girl student said that on this day we pledge this resistance movement to  its logical end.
