Srinagar: More than 12 people were killed and 18 others suffered injuries after a bus they were traveling in fell into a gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

Officials said that the bus was on way to Poonch from Loran when it skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Mandi area’s Plera.

Officials said the bodies of all those killed in the accident have been recovered. Rescue and search operation is underway, while the injured passengers have been rushed to sub-district hospital in Mandi for treatment.
