Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar freezes at minus 2.8 Degrees Celsius

Srinagar: Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar on Monday recorded the coldest night of the season as the minimum temperature plummeted to minus 2.8 degrees Celsius.

An official of the MeT department said that the minimum temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir continued to drop on Monday. “Srinagar witnessed the coldest night of the season due to the clear night sky,” he said.

The official said that the minimum temperatures are likely to drop further in the coming days.
