Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was Saturday placed under house arrest while the head office of the amalgam at Rajbagh was also sealed.

Hurriyat Conference (M) was supposed to hold a one-day workers convention at the head office.

“One day #Hurriyat workers /delegate session barred! Put again under #HouseArrest! Rajbagh office of Hurriyat sealed! Not allowed any space or scope for any political activity! So much for practising honest democracy Governor sahab!” tweeted Mirwaiz.
