Thousands offer multiple funeral prayers of slain militants in south Kashmir’s Pulwama

Srinagar: Hundreds of thousands of people on Thursday bid adieu to the two slain militants who were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Khrew area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The two slain militants were affiliated with Hizb and were identified as Adnan Ahmad and Adil Ahmad both resident of Awantipora.

Reports said that thousands of people including attended the funeral prayers of the slain in Braw Bandina and Malangpora villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district intense pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan sloganeering.

Witnesses said that four rounds of funeral prayers were offered to both slain militants Adnan Ahmad Lone alias Uqaab son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone, a resident of Braw Bandina; and Adil Bilal Bhat alias Umair Al Hizbi son of Bilal Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Malangpora, Pulwama.
