South Kashmir: Pulwama shuts against militant killings as authorities snap internet services

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday following the killing of two local Hizbul Mujahideen militants in a gunfight with government forces at Shar Shali area of Pampore.

Internet services have also been shut in the district

The slain militants include top commander Adil Ahmad Bhat of Malangpora Awantipora and Adnan Ahmad of Brahbandina Awantipora.

Reports said that complete shutdown is being observed in Pampore, Shar Shali, Khrew, Awantipora, Tral and Pulwama towns.

All the shops and other bussiness establishments are closed in Pulwama district while public transport is mostly off the roads
