Srinagar: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir range Swayam Prakash Pani has said that the execution video’s of “civilians” by militants in Kashmir is a reflection of ‘terror’ crimes.

Speaking to News 24 channel, the IGP Kashmir said that the people propagating these ‘brutal’ videos on social media are also under scanner and police will initiate a strong action against them.
Two civilians who militants said were informers and responsible for tipping government forces about militants, were killed earlier last week in southern Kashmir.

Later GNS quoting IGP claimed to have identified those behind circulation of the recent “execution videos” in south Kashmir.

“Those who are propagating brutal killing videos have been identified and soon action will be taken against them,” Inspector General of Police S.P Pani said.

The top police officer of Kashmir said that cyber domain used by militants for these “gruesome acts stand identified and they will be brought before the law.”
