Fire partially damages CRPF camp in south Kashmir

Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp was partially damaged in a fire in Qazigund in south Kashmir, official sources said here on Friday.

The blaze broke out at Walnut factory Levdoora in Qazigund, housing CRPF battalion headquarters late last night. However, before the fire tenders could douse the flames, the blaze spread to nearby huts.

Six huts were reduced to ashes in the incident.

There was no loss of life, they said, adding that the cause of fire was being ascertained.
