Tral in south Kashmir shuts to mourn Jaish militant’s killing

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral area of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district to mourn the killing of Jaish-e Mohammad (JeM) militant yesterday.

Witnesses said that all shops and business establishments are shut in the area whoile a very thin movement of traffic was visible on the roads.

A Jaish militant identified as Anwar of Pakistan was killed during a day-long gunfight with government forces in Dar-Ganaie Gund village of Tral on Friday. A policeman also sustained injuries during the gunfight.
