Shopian: PDP legislator from Wachi constituency Aijaz Mir has expressed grief over the loss of horticulture sector due to untimely snowfall. Mir visited different villages of his constituency and directed the concerned departments to remain alert.

He was accompanied by SDM Zainapora, Tehsildar Zainapora and officers from PHE, PDD, R&B, Horticulture, Revenue, Education, Health etc.

Mir said the apple growers are in distress due to the huge losses inflicted on their apple harvest and apple trees due to the snowfall.

Later he held a meeting with the officials and directed them to expedite the process of restoration of all sectors.
