Tral shuts against killing of 2 JeM militants in Pulwama  

Srinagar: Normal life was crippled in Tral and adjoining areas on Wednesday due to a strike to protest against killing of two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants in an encounter with Government forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Restrictions have also been imposed in sensitive areas in Tral in Pulwama as a precautionary measure to prevent protest against the killings.

Shops and business establishments were closed and traffic was off the roads in restriction free parts in Tral and adjoining areas on Wednesday.

Government forces remained deployed in strength to strictly imposed restrictions in sensitive areas in Tral, where people alleged that they were not allowed to come out of their houses since early this morning.

Work in government offices and banks was also affected due to the strike in Tral, where educational institutes remained deserted as students preferred to stay indoors in view of tense situation.(agencies).
