Srinagar: Government forces on Tuesday afternoon launched a cordon and search operation (CAS0) in Palhallan town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that army’s 29 RR, special operations group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF laid a siege around Tantray Mohalla of Palhallan and started a search operation.
Police sources said that the search operation has been launched following information about presence of some militants in the village.
