Kabul: At least five people have been killed and several others injured in a suicide attack early Saturday in Maidan Wardak province of central Afghanistan, the city police said.

According to police, the attack took place at an army repair workshop in Maidan Shar city adding that 12 others are also wounded in the attack, QNA reported.

Meanwhile, another source said that at least seven people were killed, and 33 others were wounded.

Taliban has claimed responsibility for the dastardly attack.
