Kashmir municipal polls: Here is the final district-wise breakup of voter turnout in 3rd phase

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday revealed the final figures of the third phase of ongoing municipal elections.

An official spokesperson said that Kashmir division recorded a voter turn out of 6.7% while Jammu division recorded a turnout of 68.4%. He put the final figures of the state at 41.9%.

Giving a breakup of Kashmir division, he said that Islamabad district recorded a percentage of 3.2% while capital city Srinagar recorded a percentage of 1.8%.

Baramulla district in northern Kashmir recorded the highest percentage in third phase with 75.3%. Pertinently, Uri municipal committee of Baramulla district went for polls today.
