Srinagar: As the voting for second phase of the municipal polls began on Wednesday, 9.41% of polling was recorded in Sumbal municipal committee.

An official while giving details said that 435 males casted their vote while 313 female exercised their franchise.

The poll percentage stood at 9.41% at 9 am, he said.

Officials said that 13 wards in Sumbal are going for polls, while the polling is underway at 11 wards.

Two wards they said are unopposed where two independent candidates have been declared elected unopposed.
