Tral in southern Kashmir shuts against slapping of PSA on local shopkeeper

Srinagar: Tral township of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district is observing a complete shutdown in protest against the slapping of Public Safety Act (PSA) on a local shopkeeper.

Reports said that a shopkeeper Hilal Ahmad Dhobi son of Ghulam Mohudin Dhobi, a resident of Hamdania Bazar Tral was slapped with PSA on Monday and was sent to a Jammu jail.

Witnesses said that all shops and business establishments remained closed in the town while light movement of transport was visible on the roads.
